Hiiii - my name is Tiara and I am the owner and founder of New Wave Aesthetics & Academy.
I am a certified teeth whitening technician offering in office and mobile teeth whitening and tooth gem services in Barrie and the surrounding areas.

A little about me and how I got started - I’m a single mom of a teenage girl and I was doing residential cleaning for almost 5 years. Working my butt off and I was not happy at all. I was looking for a new way to make money and a way I could be home more and spend more time with my daughter. I wanted to wake up and do something that I actually enjoyed doing everyday. I did some research and decided to take a lash extension master class course in Toronto and I opened my own home business at the end of 2019. I started lashing and I quickly realized that it wasn’t my thing and it wasn’t meant for me. A few months after investing a bunch of savings and converting my spare room into a full on lash studio Covid hit…. you all know how that went BUT I didn’t lose hope. I knew I was going to have a lot of spare time coming up so I started looking for a new or trending service, something that was a low over head but also something that people were going to be interested in. That’s when I seen the demand for teeth whitening and realized the potential in adding that service to my business SO I did my training, switched my “lash room” to a teeth whitening salon and I never looked back. It is now my full time career and i’m happy to say I have designed my own course and have trained many successful students and helped them build businesses as well.

The joy I receive from helping people boost their confidence and bring the sparkle back into their smile is such an amazing feeling.
